Much more of a difference with our vessel donation program then any other qualified charitable contribution available to you.

When you donate your marine vessel to Charity Yachts it’s entered into our network of available ships and vessels.   

When it’s either sold or leased, 100% of the net proceeds go DIRECTLY to one of our select charities.   On average, that’s 90% of the total revenue.    We support programs such as the Mystic Aquarian And Institute For Exploration, Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, The Miracle Foundation and Mystic Seaport Museum.   

We picked these organizations after careful consideration and determination that funds donated by Charity Yachts could make the most difference in the world today.

When your vessel is donated, you and your family are pinnacle in allocating the proceeds to one of our supported charities, you make a difference.

Whether you’re donating an eighteen foot runabout, a fifty foot sport fisherman, a hundred foot yacht or a two hundred foot freighter, your donation is something that will help the protect the oceans we love and make the world a better place.

In addition to the tax benefits of donating your vessel to Charity Yachts, if your vessel qualifies for our leasing program, then you will additionally continue to have use of your vessel at one of our host marinas without the financial responsible.    We maintain your vessel, crew it (if necessary with licensed and trained professionals) and make it available to you and other yachting enthusiasts for a flat daily/weekly/monthly fee.  This of course is in turn donated to one of our supported charities.
